TUNGOD sa suod nga pagtinabangay, nahimong Best Provincial Commodity Investment Plan (PCIP) ang Davao del Norte sa Rehiyon XI ug sa Mindanao.

Balik niadtong Septyembre 2017 atol sa iyang pagbisita, kompyansang gipahayag ni OIC Regional XI Director sa Department of Agriculture ug kasamtangan nga Project Director sa mga Provincial Road Development Projects (PRDP) sa Mindanao Engr. Ricardo M. Oñate ang pag-una sa probinsya sa implementasyon sa mga proyekto sa PRDP lakip na niini ang PCIP.

“Very clear. Sa implementation pa lang number one ang Davao del Norte entire Mindanao and very clear pod yung collaborative effort,” ang pahayag nga giluwatan ni OIC Dir. Oñate atol sa interbyu niadtong Septyembre 19, 2017 sulod sa DavNor Pavilion.

Bisan si Gobernador Anthony del Rosario magarbohon sa mga programa nga gihimo alang sa mga mag-uuma.

“Kita dire sa Davao del Norte we’re very proud na kita gyod ang gipili tungod gyod na sa atong mga programs nga atong gihimo alang sa mga farmers especially sa atong cacao,” matod sa gobernador atol sa pagbisita sa OIC Regional Director.

“They’re looking into the contents of the Provincial Investment Commodity Plan of all the provinces under the PRDP. So among those PCIP nga ilahang gi-assess, gi-evaluate it took nga sa region kita ang the best PCIP so far,” matod ni PPDO department head Engr. Josie Jean Rabanoz.

It’s just that nga ang atong PCIP is not only intended for farm to market roads nga gigamit sa PRDP but ang PCIPs serve also as our guide in accessing funds from other agencies. At the same time gi-integrate nato siya sa atoang Annual Investment Plan sa province and so with our Provincial Development Investment Plan. dili lang siya as one mere document but rather na-maximize ang utilization niya by accessing other sources of funding,” padayong pasabot ni Engr. Rabanoz.

Apil sa DavNor PCIP ang mga produkto nga cacao, banana (cardava), cassava, coconut, coffee, durian, mangga, oil palm, rubber ug abaca. Ang laing tulo pa ka mga produkto nga himoan ug PCIP karong tuiga naglakip sa kanding (Chevon), swine ug bangus.

Labot sa plano nga ilakip ang “dairy” sa PCIP, matod ni Engr. Rabanoz nga naa pa’y daghang i-tresh out sanglit ang focus karon sa PRDP ilawom sa I-REAP nga programa mao na ang second level. Ug sanglit ang kasamtangang dairy plant sa New Corella, Davao del Norte pirme makulangan sa gatas nga i-proseso, nagkinahanglan gayod kini nga tutokan una aron matubag ang ubang kinahanglanon una pa maapil sa PCIP.
