Mokabat 50 ka mga empleyado sa kapitolyo ang gipailawom sa duha ka adlawng seminar kabahin sa Public Service Ethics and Accountability sa Davao del Norte Sports and Tourism Complex, Mankilam, Tagum City niadtong Pebrero 20-21, 2024.
Sumala ni Provincial Human Resource and Management Officer Edwin A. Palero, MPA, MHRM nga gihimo ang maong seminar aron paghatag dugang kahibalo sa mga empleyado kabahin sa ethical standard ug accountability nga labing gikinahanglan alang sa mas episyenteng pagtuman sa ilang mandato isip trabahante sa gobyerno.
“Public office is a public trust. Public officer and employees are mandatory at all times be accountable to the people. So, with this, I hope guided mo nganong nagahimo ta og ingon ani. Ato gyud ning i-ensure nga ang tanang mga empleyado sa kapitolyo at its best, in its competence, in its health, mentally, physically, emotionally and its accountability and its character according to the principle as enunciated by the constitution and as espoused by the Civil Service Commission and of course, by the management of the Provincial Government of Davao del Norte headed by Kuya Gov Edwin I. Jubahib,” ingon ni Palero.
Sa mensahe ni Governor Edwin Jubahib pinaagi sa iyang Executive Assistant Reynante Monares, giawhag ni Kuya Gov ang mga empleyado sa pagtuman sa pinakataas nga sukdnanan sa integridad, transparency ug accountability sa tumong nga mahatag ang pinakamaayong serbisyo sa mga katawhan sa probinsya.
“Public service is not merely a job. It is a noble calling. It is a trust between government and the people we serve. Our actions of far reaching implication impacted the lives of countless individuals reshaping the future of our society. Therefore, it is incumbent upon us to tell that ourselves with unwavering honesty, fairness and integrity at all times,” sigon ni Monares.
Seryosong naminaw ang mga partisipante sa mga input nga gihatag sa mga resource person gikan sa Civil Service Commission Region XI nga sila si Hilarion C. Matavio, Jr., CSC Special Investigator III, ug Atty. Therese Anne C. Licayon, CSC Attorney III. Aktibo sab kini sa pagpartisipar sa nagkadaiyang activity workshop nga gidalit sa mga resource persons.
Gibatbat ni Matavio ang kamahinungdanon sa pagkat-on sa Ethical Standard kay kini maoy mamahimong sumbanan sa pagkamaayong mamumuo sa probinsya. Samtang gipalawman sab ni Atty. Licayon ang mga balaod kalabot sa anti-graft corruption kalakip sab ang mga paagi sa pagbatok niini.
Sa kinatibuk-an, gipahigayon ang maong seminar sa katuyoan nga makat-onan sa mga empleyado ang saktong pamatasan sa pagtratar sa katawhan nga moduol sa ilang tagsa-tagsa ka buhatan ug masilsil sa ilang alimpatakan ang dakong tulubagon isip civil servant.
