SP DavNor Elected Officials take oath of office

Other provincial offiials who took their oath include the Board Members’ Shirley Belen Aala, Enting Eliot, Sr., Francisco Remitar, and Joey Millan of District I; and Board Member’s Rodney del Rosario, Jr. (Sr. Board Member), Roy Catalan, Ernesto Evangelista, Hernanie Duco, and Janet Tanong-Maboloc for District II.

Also took part in the oath taking ceremony were the two Davao del Norte members of the House of Representative, Congressmen-elect Pantaleon Alvarez of fist District and Antonio Floirendo, Jr. of second District.

Hundreds of loyal supporters, leaders, and offiials of the national and local offies, youth leaders, and capitol employees showed their support for the new sets of DavNor elected offiials (CY 2016-2019) who were entrusted to lead this province in the next three years.

The SP elected offiials CY 2016-2019 headed by ViceGovernor Dujali revealed their brand of administration and service as policy makers of this province which is continuing doing policies for development under the principle reason and ethics.

They will continue supporting all programs and projects that former Governor RDR has started and embrace the new plans and programs that will be initiated by the new elected Governor AGR so long as it is line with the principle of good governance and unity. They vowed to be ready in joining Governor AGR in his journey to spur this province to another greater height of development.  ES-LU

Vice-Guv “Aldo” Dujali supports PCDC enhancement and team building forum

In line with his mandate as Chairperson of the Provincial Cooperative Development Council (PCDC) of Davao del Norte, Vice-Governor Dujali joined and supported its 3-day enhancement and team building forum last July 21-23, 2016 at Socorro, Surigao del Norte.

Many of the cooperative members attended said event which includes CDC members, coordinators and PAGRO DavNor personnel. Its main purpose was to improve the relationship among participating local cooperatives and stakeholders.

Vice-Governor Alan “Aldo” Dujali gave his introductory address during the preliminary part of its forum being one of their guests of honor. In his address, he reiterated his full support to the plans and programs of PCDC which pertains to its growth and partnership with LGU’s in strengthening unity for economic development. During the forum, he reached out to cooperative members in facilitating the issues concerning the Agrarian Reform Benefiiaries (ARBs) as agri cooperatives. He encouraged a constant dialogue in solving the matter, thus it was eventually resolved during the event since an immediate open communication with the Provincial Reform Offier has occurred.

The Vice Governor also discussed with the participants the importance of the continuity of capacity enhancement program for cooperative leaders. He also manifested his plan to provide cooperatives with easy access on credit and fiancial assistance that will sustain its service delivery operations for the whole year-round.

Aside from this, Vice-Governor Dujali gave his support for the immediate establishment of satellite offies in major LGU’s of Davao del Norte with the fim commitment and cooperation of local cooperatives development councils of this province.

He always believed that building on the spirit of cooperation, cooperatives have the potential to foster economic growth at the community of different levels. Thus, he adhered to the principle that “Cooperatives are development tools and should promote both social empowerment and economic goals.”

SP conducts Inaugural Session 2016 and hosts AGR Executive Address

The Sangguniang Panlalawigan of Davao del Norte, Term 2016-2019, held its Inaugural Session and Executive Address of the Governor last July 4, 2016 at SP Session Hall, Government Center, Mankilam, Tagum City, Davao del Norte.

Different invited guests, supporters, and immediate family members of SP legislators graced the occasion including the provincial government career offiials and staff of  both executive and legislative department. Former elected offiials were also present in the occasion along with the Offiials of the Philippine National Police and Armed Forces of the Philippines. Elected Offiials from several LGU’s of the Province including Barangay Offiials and Functionaries also came to witness the event.

The event was the fist SP Regular Session for 2016 and the fist Executive Address of Hon. Antonio del Rosario as governor of this province with the new elected vice-governor Alan R. Dujali, MPA presiding.

After vice-governor Dujali called the 1st Regular Session to order, the SP Legislators paved the way for Governor Antonio Rafael G. del Rosario to present his good  governance and development strategy through an executive address to Dabaonon people.

In his address the governor emphasized the call for unity among the provincial elected  offiials of Davao del Norte and urged them to walk with him in a common ground in public service. The Governor also pushed his development strategy of this province, the B.E.S.T. P.E.O.P.L.E. which means Balanced ecology, Enhanced agri-aquaculture, Sustainable tourism, Transformative leadership, People e m p o w e r m e n t , Education, Optimum health and social services, Public-private partnership, Link to the world, Employment and livelihood opportunities. He was committed to continue fiing the things that remain wrong with Davao del Norte and make the lives of every Dabaonons even better.

Responding to governor’s call, vice-governor Dujali was interviewed after the event and said that the SP DavNor were also committed to work with the governor in  providing the Dabonons the service they truly deserve. He also added that the B.E.S.T. P.E.O.P.L.E. can only be materialized if they work hand-in-hand beyond their  differences. He insisted that the reason they were elected and entrusted with authority because the Dabaonons gave them a common mandate to serve them.

In terms of good governance, the vice-governor assured the Dabaonons that the SP will work earnestly with the executive through reasonable and ethical legislation for more innovative programs that directly benefi the Dabaonons while maintaining transparency, accountability, and participatory development in policy making.

On behalf of his colleagues in the August Chamber, the vice governor assured the governor and the executive branch of their continuous cooperation and support to development initiatives of the provincial government.

The event ended with the impression of simple but meaningful 2016 SP DavNor inaugural session and executive address.  ES-LU
