The 1st round of the screening process for the DavNor Chesskwelahan has culminated last March 11, 2017 at the Robinsons Place Tagum Atrium.
The Champion of the 1st Qulifying Tournament Aleyah Rae Lumangtad has once again breezed through the tournament besting 51 participants with her impressive 7-0 record that allowed her to bag the top spot once again.
Participants will now undergo the 2nd round of the screening process which is the individual calibration. They will be called in batches in the span of 2 months to be calibrated by top notch local chess masters to determine their skill level.
