Sa katuyoang makahulma og bag-ong mga pamaagi ug dugang kahibalo nga magamit sa pag-uswag sa probinsya, nag-abot ang mga researchers sa usa ka venue aron pagpresentar sa mga issues ug solusyon sa nagkadaiyang aspeto sa mga suliran. Ang 1st Dabaonon Research Congress nga adunay temang Harmonizing Progress: Pathways to Sustainable Future through Research and Development. Kini nagtutok alang sa kalibutanong panawagan nga aksyonan ug tapuson ang kalisud, protektahan ang kinaiyahan, ug pauswagon ang panginabuhi ubos sa Sustainable Development Goal (SDG).

Ang mga resource speakers o mga congress conveners naggikan sa inilang mga akademya nga nagpaambit sa maundanong topiko subay sa SDG agenda.

"Participates your representation in policy making at a local, regional, national and even global level to implement programs & policies to end poverty. So, probably some of you here are members of our barangay development council, municipal development council and other councils which you can contribute something to the achievement of ending poverty," sumala ni Dr. Reynaldo C. Castro, Vice President for External Relations and International Affairs, University of Mindanao.

Samtang, ang mga researchers nga gikan sa nagkadaiyang ahensiya ug institusyon nagpresentar sa ilang mga case studies sama sa Recommendation for the Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL) Reformation, Kalisdanan sa Lengguwaheng Gigamit sa mga Grade 7 Students, Fostering Child-friendly Initiatives sa Tagum City, Assessment sa Psychological Well-being sa mga Ingenious People sa Kolehiyo, ug uban pa.

Prayoridad sa kasamtangang pamunoan ni Governor Edwin “Kuya Gov” Jubahib ang paglungtad sa KUYA GOB NG MASA Development Agenda. Buot sa gobernador nga makab-ot sa probinsya ang malungtarong kalamboan. Gihataga’g gibug-aton ni PICKMO Head Dr. Mervin Jay Z. Suaybaguio ang kontribusyon sa mga researchers nga nagpasundayag sa ilang mga maayong panghunahuna mga makaayo alang sa kalamboan sa matag komunidad ug lokalidad.
