Gipasidunggan sa Probinsyal nga Panggamhanan sa Davao del Norte ang mga labing maayong buhatan sa mga munisipyo nga nagdumala sa koleksyon sa real property tax, pinaagi sa usa ka seremonya nga gipahigayon niadtong Septyembre 10, 2024, sa Capitol Pavilion, DNSTC, Mankilam, Tagum City.

Ang pinakagiatangan nga bahin sa maong seremonya mao ang pagpasidungog sa Lungsod sa Carmen, nga nakab-ot ang labing taas nga collection efficiency nga mokabat 213%. Kini nga kalampusan nagpakita sa talagsaong abilidad sa Carmen sa pagpangolekta sa bulohisan sa ilang lungsod nga dakong tabang alang sa dugang pondo sa probinsya.

Mihatag sa iyang mensahe si Provincial Treasurer Evelyn G. Espra, MPA, nga nagdasig ug nagpatin-aw sa rason sa maong kalihokan. Gipasiugda niya ang dakong papel sa epektibong koleksyon sa buhis sa lokal nga panggobyerno ug ang kaayohan nga dala niini sa mga serbisyong pampubliko ug kalamboan sa imprastraktura.

“Real Property Tax is one of the major local revenue sources of all local government units. In fact, sa province in 2023 our collection efficiency on real property tax is 116.26% out of the target set by the Bureau of Local Government Finance in the amount of ₱201,684,001.84... With this as one way of expressing our sincere gratitude for your dedication and hard work in the collection of real property tax, the Provincial Government of Davao del Norte under the leadership of our Kuya Gov Edwin I. Jubahib, recognized and appreciated your contributions in the revenue generation program of this province,” matud ni Espra.

Gipasidunggan usab ang ubang mga munisipyo tungod sa ilang mga kalampusan sa pagpalambo sa koleksyon sa buhis, diin nakuha sa Lungsod sa Sto. Tomas ang ikaduhang pwesto nga adunay 189.81% efficiency ug nalangkat sab sa Lungsod sa Talaingod ang ikatulong ganti nga anaay 98.49% efficiency. Apan ang Lungsod sa Carmen nagpabiling nag-una nga modelo alang sa ubang mga lokal nga panggamhanan.

Ang maong kalihokan nagpakita sa pagtinabangay sa probinsya ug sa mga munisipyo sa pagpauswag sa lokal nga koleksyon sa buhis, nga nag-abri og dalan para sa mas paspas nga kalamboan ug mas maayong serbisyo publiko alang sa mga katawhan sa Davao del Norte.
