With reference to the PAG-ASA Severe Weather Bulletin No. 4 issued at 2:00 PM today, the center of Tropical Storm "Crising" was estimated based on all available data at 250 km. East of Davao City (7.4"N, 128.1"E). Winds of 65 km/h near the center and gustiness of up to 80 km/h moving towards West Northwestward at 25 km/h.

Relative to the said weather system, Davao del Norte is included among the areas under Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal (TCWS) # 2, particularly the Municipalities of Kapalong, San Isidro, Asuncion, New Corella, and Talaingod and while Cities of Tagum, Island Garden City of Samal, Panabo and Municipalities of Carmen, Braulio E. Dujali, and Santo Tomas are under TCWS # 1. This weather system will bring moderate to heavy rainfall to entire areas of Davao del Norte.

For preparedness measures to secure all constituents of this Province on the adverse impacts that this weather system may cause, the Office of the Governor ordered the full work from home arrangement in all the Offices of the Provincial Government on May 14-15, 2021 or until the weather condition improves for the employees to resume work.

Declaration of suspension of work among private and public offices in the cities and municipalities of this Province will be according to the discretion of their Local Chief Executive and their respective management.
