Atol sa candidates briefing nga gipahigayon sa DavNor Commission on Elections (COMELEC), Philippine National Police (PNP), Philippine Army, Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG), Department of Health ug PPCRV, nanumpa ang mga kandidato sa Partido Reporma (REPORMA) ug Hugpong ng Pagbabago (HNP) nga gitiman-an og pagpirma sa Peace Covenant.
“As we go for the campaign of our president Bongbong Marcos and Inday Sara as our vice-president and our local slate in Davao del Norte, we hereby commit to the Integrity Pledge, in full commitment to the best of our ability without purpose of any omission thereat. We hope that everyone of us in the Hugpong ng Pagbabago as we commit ourselves for this honest election,“ matod ni gubernatorial candidate Board Member Roy Catalan alang sa Partido HNP.
“In behalf of the Partido REPORMA, I pledge to commit with deep sincerity our purpose here of having a clean and honest election, of having an election that is worthy to be praised, and . . in behalf of the party we pray that this coming election will be peaceful and we are campaigning for our candidates for presidential position in the person of Ping Lacson, our vice-president Sotto and the rest of the provincial officials and we pray that this coming election will be peaceful . . so that we could achieve the purpose of this signing of peace covenant for Secure and to have Accurate, Free and Fair Election,” pahayag sab ni vice-gubernatorial candidate Board Member Franklin Gentiles alang sa partido REPORMA.

Labot sa kaandam sa PNP sa pagpatuman sa kalinaw ug kahusay, matod ni DavNor Police Director PCol Antonio Alberio, Jr nga hangtod Marso 8 wala’y taho sa “Areas of Concern,” “hotspots” ingon man ang “Permit to Campaign” nga mga insidente ang ilang nadawat.
“Ang atoang readiness sa PNP start pa lang niadtong election period. Kana lang in a day naa ta’y 30 COMELEC checkpoints, joint na siya sa AFP ug PNP. Naa na ta’y deployment sa mga polling places, atoa nang giandam aron dili ta mabigla pag-abot sa panahon. Grabe ang atong pagpangandam karon nga eleksyon,” matod ni PD Alberio, Jr. nga nagbutyag sa nadakpang 40 ka gun ban violators sukad nagsugod ang campaign season, Enero 9.
Sa naghitak nga mga campaign materials, nanawagan si Provincial Election Supervisor III Atty. Emelie Camaganacan nga tanggalon na sa mga kandidato o mga supporters sanglit dunay gitudlo nga lawful common poster areas.
“Advise natin sa mga kandidato na sana before the campaign period for the local candidates na tanggalin na po yung mga kino-consider natin na unlawful election propaganda dahil meron nga tayong common poster area na kung saan doon lamang dapat nakalagay yung election propaganda,” pahayag ni PES Camaganacan nga nagbutyag sa province-wide Operation Baklas karong Marso 21 gawas sa mga municipal ug city COMELEC eskedyul.
