So why not we will empower all of them,” pahayag ni Suaybaguio.

But we wil also see to it nga na-apply nila ang mga training nga atong gihatag sa ilaha…

“It’s a culture that Sawata National High School has been highlighting not just the news about our students, but also our community…. The goal is community journalism or development communication… This kind of communication should help in promoting the progress of the community. It’s not destroying the people, it’s not destroying the LGU, it’s not destroying the government… Definitely, we will address the call. I believe it’s a call for our student journalists, our broadcasters to also help the community of San Isidro be developed, be empowered, be promoted through journalism,” sulti ni Deloy.

“Since ang among objective is widespread, gusto namo malakop tanan significant ug relevant nga stories sa among school ug especially sa community… Taga bukid [ra] daw mi, so it would be a big opportunity for us to open our school sa big events nga related sa among field of excellence,” ingon ni Baluran.

“One of the objectives of this training is to enhance the knowledge and skills of our budding journalists here in Sawata NHS… because this coming December, there will be another contest on intensifying the reading program of the school… This [activity] has a connection with the research work and at the same time the reading program of the school,” matod ni Tagalinao.

Sulod sa tulo (3) ka adlaw nga Community Journalism Training Workshop, mipailawom ang mga estudyante sa Sawata NHS og lecture ug hands-on workshop kalabot sa Videography, Photojournalism, Social Marketing, News Writing, Feature Writing, ug Radio and TV Broadcasting.

Ang Sawata National High School mao pa lang ang ‘pilot recipient’ sa Provincial-wide Ka-Tropa Training Workshop on Community Journalism nga giplanohang itanyag sab sa tanang eskwelahan sa Probinsya nga buot makig-alayon sa PICKMO, mapa-publiko man o pribadong tulunghaan.
