Davao del Norte Governor Anthony del Rosario reiterates his support to President Rodrigo Duterte’s declaration placing Mindanao Island under Martial Law during the regular Provincial Peace and Order Council meeting on Wednesday, June 7, 2017.

“We kept our social capacity and vigilance to ensure relative peace and stability as we reiterate our all-out-support to President Rodrigo Roa Duterte’s rollback to genuine and lasting peace,” said PPOC chair del Rosario in his opening message.

There’s nothing to fear, we have different constitution,” Captain Rey Vergel Annogui, Information Officer of the 1001st Brigade quoted during the PPOC emergency meeting.

On said regular PPOC meeting, the Davao del Norte governor also reiterates his support to the combined military and police efforts to sustained peace in the locality.

“With our brand of no-nonsense local governance, we provided vital support mechanisms to our security forces. While strengthening our programs, increased our spending for these facilities that there may sustained peace in the province,” del Rosario stressed.

Aside from contributing to the national peace and order campaign, Davao del Norte is also taking the lead in support to President Duterte’s relentless war against illegal drugs through many interventions especially the ground-breaking “Aksyon Gabay tungo sa Repormasyon-Information Management System (AGR-IMS) that are now adopted by many LGUs in the country.
