“Notwithstanding the advent of the digital knowledge economy, agriculture remains as one of the biggest pillars of the national economy. The agri sector is still an indispensable engine of growth, providing unremitting employment opportunities for our countrymen. It is for this very reason that we acknowledge your very significant role as agricultural development workers in advancing the country's farming sector,” matod ni Gob del Rosario atol sa pagbukas sa kombensyon Myerkoles, Mayo 16 didto sa RDR Gym.

“Experts say that the agriculture sector is presently being faced with various challenges . . climate change. . limited access to credit and insurance, high cost of production inputs, low farm mechanization, insufficient post-harvest facilities, inadequate irrigation, transport and marketing, among other issues. . .I am very much confident that these challenges will be aptly tackled in this conference so that the things that matter most will be put into proper perspective, to guide you in your achieving food security and self-sufficiency,” pahayag ni Gob AGR.

“One of the challenges natin, yung ageing farmers natin, tumatanda na. Tapos who will be the next farmers. Alam naman natin na agriculuture is the backbone of the economy. So what will happen kung wala nang farmer. .

“Despite all these apprehensions, we remain very optimistic about the great prospect of the agricultural sector, particularly in Mindanao this year and beyond,” matod sa gobernador ngadto sa mga agrikulturista.

“They have already the basic idea but as time goes on, kailangan i-remind ug naa man pod uban mga kabag-ohan sa agrikultura nga kinahanglan pod mahibal-an sa atong mga Agricultural Extension Workers. .  . mga technical person . .kailangan kita mas knowledgeable compared to our farmers aron maka-engganyo gyod nga mopadayon sila sa pagpanguma,” pasabot sa Mindanao cluster PAA president sa katuyoan sa ilang panagtapok.
