GIKAN 600, himoon nga 1,000-bed capacity ang Davao Regional Medical Center (DRMC) ug makadawat pa gyod kini ug usa ka ambulansya.

Kini ang gisaad ni Chairperson Committee on Health Senador Joseph Victor “JV” Ejercito ug Davao City Mayor Sarah Duterte-Carpio atol sa ilang pagbisita sa DRMC Huwebes, Hulyo 19 kauban ni Davao del Norte Gobernador Anthony del Rosario.

“I’ve been going around the different hospitals in the provinces. One common problem is the over-capacity, probably because of the growing population. Like DRMC, this is a 600-bed capacity hospital but you are functioning about 1,000, about 200%. This is the real situation, the predicament of most government hospitals all over the country. “As chairman the committee on health I want to focus on, my commitment to the president, 2022, I hope we can improve the capacity, we can improve the occupancy rate of all the government hospitals. Dito po sa DRMC which are now 600-bed, rest assured that I would sponsor it in the Senate to increase the bed capacity to 1,000,” pasalig ni Senador Joseph Victor Ejercito.

“Kining atong programa karong adlaw gihimo nato ni para mahibal-an ni Senator JV ug ni Mayor Inday Sara kung unsay status sa atong Davao Regional Medical Center. Senator JV is the chairman committee on health. And I’m sure meron tayong pangangailangan. The first thing that comes to my mind, Senator JV, they need an ambulance here. Sana ho matulungan sila. Isa lang di ba?,” matod ni Gob AGR.

Si Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio nga modawat ug duha ka ambulansya andam nga ihatag ang usa niini ngadto sa DRMC.

“Nag-ingon ko kang Senator JV nga ako na la’y mohatag ug ambulance kay I am set to receive two ambulances for Davao City. Isa lang, isa-isa ta,” matod ni Mayor Sara nga naghisgot sab sa “best practices” nga ilang gihimo, ang One-Stop-Shop ‘Pagkalinga sa Bayan’ alang sa mga pobre nga nanginahanglan gayod ug tabang.

Gisugyot sa Davao City mayor nga himoon sab dinhi sa DRMC ang konsepto sa Pagkalinga sa Bayan atbang gayod sa SPMC diin ang mga ahensya sa LGU, DSWD, Philhealth, PCSO, Pagcor, Office of the President of the Philippines ug ang Opisina ni Senador JV Ejercito nga “usahon” lang aron daling mabatonan ang tabang sa nanginahanglan.
