NANAWAGAN ang bag-ong gobernador sa Davao del Norte Anthony G. del Rosario nga kanunay’ng mag-andam sa tanang panahon ilabina sa wala damha nga kalamidad.
Sa iyang unang pagtambong ingong gobernador sa Monday Convocation program niadtong Hulyo 4, gipasabot ni Gob AGR nga responsibilidad gayod sa matag usa ang pagkahimong andam ug ang pagtubag sa mga panghitabo.
Ang convocation nga gipasiugdahan sa Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction Management nagdala sa tema “Kahandaan at Pagtugon sa Sakuna, Tungkulin ng Bawat Isa.”
“As we all know, disasters mostly hit us when we least expect it and when it happens, it leaves the victims helpless and even clueless as what to do next. Disasters either happen through man-made or through natural causes. But no matter how hard it may hit us, it pays to be always ready and be properly equipped with the necessary materials to bounce back. Just like what our theme says – it is everybody’s responsibility to be ready and to respond accordingly to any eventuality,” panawagan ni Gobernador del Rosario atubangan sa napuno sa empleyado nga Bulwagan ng Lalawigan.
Ang probinsya sa Davao del Norte dugay na nga naghimo ug abanteng pagpangandam pinaagi sa pagbansay sa katawhang Dabaonon alang sa lain-laing klase nga kalamidad. Kini naglakip sa regular nga fire ug earthquake drills ug bisan pangandam sa tsunami niadtong mga barangay nga anaa nahimutang daplin sa baybayon pinaagi sa programang Oplan ANDAM 1 & 2. Apan bisan pa sa gihimong pagpangandam, dugang pasabot ni AGR nga daghan pa gayod ang angay’ng buhaton.
“Let us not forget as well the relevance of Oplan ANDAM 1 & 2 which prepare every vulnerable barangay in Davao del Norte to face each calamity with much needed readiness and to ensure that this have possible limited effect,” komento sa gobernador alang sa nagpadayon nga programa sa pagpangandam.
Apan giila ni AGR nga bisan pa sa todo-pangandam sa probinsya, angay lang gayod nga ang matag indibiduwal mohimo sa iyang bahin pinaagi sa mga pagbag-o nga maggikan mismo sa iyang kaugalingon.

Many of our societal problems including environmental problems are related to our way of living.
