Provincial Drug Abuse Prevention Rehabilitation Board nagtagbo aron mahisgotan ang angay’ng buhaton sa pagtabang niadtong nalambigit sa gidili nga droga, nagtagbo sa unang higayon ang Provincial Drug Abuse Prevention and Rehabilitation Board (PDAPRB) kagahapon, Lunes, Hulyo 18.
Sa iyang unang pagdumala ingong PDAPRB chairman, gipasiugda ni Gobernador Anthony G. del Rosario ang kahinungdanon sa pagpakabana sa tanang nanambong ilabina sa mga mayor tungod sa gidak-on sa suliran nga naglambigit dili lang sa lokal kundili hangtod na sa nasyonal nga lebel.
“As I was going to the Business of the Day, I can already see that this is going to be a very hectic morning. I want everybody to take note of the presentation of the drug situation here in our province since this has become not only a local concern but a serious national concern as well. There is no leniency for drug abuse and that is why we have to do our best to put an end to this problem,” pahayag ni Gobernador Anthony del Rosario atubangan sa mga nanambong sa PDAPRB miting.
Tungod sa kusganong kampanya ni Presidente Rodrigo Duterte batok illegal nga droga, hangtod ning pagsulat miabot na ngadto sa 8,945 ang boluntaryong misurender nga mga user ug pusher sa Davao del Norte.
Sa presentasyon ni Police Provincial Director Senior Superintendent Ferdinand Sifuentes labot sa Drug Situation sa probinsya, iyang gibutyag nga gikan sa Enero 2016 hangtod sa Hunyo, miabot lamang ug 614 ka indibiduwal ang narekord sa ilang opisina nga langkit sa illegal nga droga. “July first of this year under of course the new leadership of our PNP and our new President Rodrigo Roa Duterte and as shown by the number of surrenderees, it is very alarming, because we have recorded 8, 504 users who voluntarily surrendered to our office and to different cities and municipalities of the province. And we also have recorded another 441. And we have a total number of surrenderees covering the period of July to present, a total of 8,945 surrenderees that include the users and the pushers from the entire province,” matod ni PD Sifuentes.
Nagpasalamat si Gob AGR nga ang probinsya nakabaton sa Luntiang Paraiso Regional Rehabilitation Center (LPRRC) nga sa katuigan nagtabang na sa mga biktima sa droga aron mapaabot ang tumong sa iyang panggamhanan ingong “amahan” sa mga nanginahanglan.
“That is why I believe that the LPRRC will play an important role in our campaign against drug abuse. These people are victims of society and they deserve a second chance with the end objective that they return to society as contributors to economic development. That is the fulfillment of my governance slogan, Abilidad at Malasakit, in short “AMA.” Tulungan nyo ako na maging ama sa mga naligaw ng landas na kagaya nila. Hindi sapat ang awa. Ang kailangan nila ay malasakit at pagtanggap,” dugang pasabot ni Gob AGR.
Tungod sa gidaghanon, dili madali ang pagkuha ug mga timailhan (profiling) sa mga surrenderees busa nagkasabot ang PDAPRB nga dalion kini aron makahimo na ug mga aksyon kun unsa ang angay’ng buhaton.
